ZCEC stands for Zero Carbon Emission Certificate. It is issued by Equalsgreen Afforestation Trust. It signifies that those hold this certificate have planted the required number of trees(calculated based of avg life-span, vehicle ownership, air travel frequency, electricity consumption in case of individuals and no. of employees, vehicle and electricity consumption in case of Corporate) through Equalsgreen.
The amount is arrived by calculating the quantum of emission (based on average life-span, vehicle ownership, air travel frequency, electricity consumption) and then how many trees are needed to balance that emission. To plant those trees on secured land, Equalsgreen finds out the cost of planting. The amount depends on profile and it can start from INR 6,000/ (USD 80.00 approx.).

After your donation, we organize a plantation drive. Plant saplings in a selected area where the plants are never cut down. Once the drive is done, you receive a green certificate which you can proudly flaunt for balancing your lifetime carbon emission.
